In a land of fear: oppression near, Shepherds watched their sheep in humble flocks. Then a call: the orders fall. Hope was hard to be found. It’s not a dream’s imaginings. The circumstances are true. As clear as can be for us to see Is the light in all we do. So listen now and find out how The shepherds cared, with friendship to be shared. And like today, not far away Were angels calling ‘round. There’s a plan to understand And endless reasons for why. The angel’s song, clear and strong, Still echoes through the sky. Our story begins with people in A land of doubt of what life was about.
